The platform is intended for use by individual healthcare professionals. Permission to use is granted to individual clinicians in that capacity and not to any body corporate, trust, institution or other association, whether or not having separate legal personality.
The content on the platform is intended and provided for use by healthcare professionals only. Access to and use of the platform by private individuals or consumers in that capacity is prohibited. Access and use by those under the age of 18 is prohibited.
You are liable to us for and indemnify us against any alleged or actual loss, liability, expense or claim whatsoever, that we are subject to consequent on any non-compliance by you with these terms. Your liability under this indemnity is uncapped and not subject to any exclusions of heads of loss.
This means that you are responsible to us for any damage or loss we suffer (including for example our legal and administration costs, and costs relating to an alleged but not successful claim) as a result of you breaching these terms or using the Platform other than in accordance with them. There is no limit on the sum you could be required to pay to cover our losses if you breach these terms.
Where the platform contains links to other apps and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them. We have no control over the contents of those apps or resources.
We do not guarantee that the platform will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.
You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access the platform. You should use your own virus protection software.
You must not misuse the platform by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or otherwise harmfully interacting with the platform or any part of it. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, the server on which the platform is stored or any server, computer or database connected to the platform or any other equipment or network connected with the platform. You must not interfere with, damage or disrupt any software used in the provision of the platform or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party on which the platform relies in any way. You must not attack the platform via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the platform will cease immediately.
